BECKY EALY BSc, PgD
– Inclusive STEAM Interpretation Consultant –
STEAM Education is allowing people of all varieties (regardless of their abilities/needs) to learn; I am passionate about bringing accessible education to all through the medium of STEAM which incorporates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math to provide an empowering approach to learning. I am committed to social inclusion and techniques which reach outside of educational norm.
“No-one is too disabled to enjoy learning – STEAMclusion is my battle cry.”
It's #AutismAcceptanceWeek.
I'm told that people are aware of autism now we need acceptance. But I'm not sure people are aware of what being autistic means.
#LivedExperience is challenged frequently because it doesn't fit the myths.
We can't have acceptance without awareness.
You can be autistic and like museums.
You can be autistic and like theatres.
You can be autistic and like both.
You can be autistic and like neither.
We are all individuals.
#ActuallyAutistic #LivedExperience #Myths
Is anyone else waiting to be let in for this?
Happy New Year All!
